Strictly Solids BOM April

Hello and Welcome to the Strictly Solids Block of the Month!

We are starting with a wonderful mix of HST, squares and rectangles to make the block below:

The block is 12.5 " finished.

Basic Instructions
  •              Be sure to read the instructions through before starting.
  •              All seams are ¼”unless stated.
  •              Placing fabrics right sides together will be indicated by RST in the pattern.

Cutting Instructions

Cut the shapes above from 3 solids fabric.

Sewing Instructions

Using the 3” squares (a) match RST colour 1 to white and colour 2 to white. (b) draw line diagonally across one of the squares. (c) sew ¼” on either side of the central line. Cut the central line and trim the HST to 2.5” (d). Make the number of each set below:

I hope you enjoy it!

Don't forget to post your blocks to the Flickr account so I can see your wonderful blocks!

I think I might make one with a Charcoal background.....
